Exoikonomo 2025/2026 — Energy Upgrade Subsidy

What is Exoikonomo

Exoikonomo is an energy upgrade subsidy programme for homes, funded by the Recovery Fund. Its aim is to reduce energy consumption and improve the energy rating of buildings.

The new programme coming up provides for significant changes: abolition of income criteria, simplification of bureaucracy, and a target of 60,000 homes per year until 2030. A separate 'Anakainizw' cycle is also being introduced for aesthetic and functional interventions (kitchen, bathroom, flooring).
